History: Svanhild, usually called Svan, was born in Uddevalla. She has two siblings, an older brother,
Valdemar, and a younger sister, Astrid. Their entire family is very close, and they all learned to fight from their father, and even learned some of the healing arts from their mother. Her brother is a viking in the Uddevalla army, and her sister is a healer in their city. Svan thought she wanted to be a healer just like her mother, until she picked up her first bow. Now she is a shield maiden, manning the walls at times, and can always be found testing her archery skills, always trying to improve. Their parents had fallen in love when Ragnhild had helped heal a wound that their father, Tryggr, had acquired during a raid.
They live in the city together, while Svan and her siblings each have their own houses nearby. If she is not training in archery, she can be found at her parents house, always asking for advice, or just enjoying their company. Svan has been on four separate raids, and has proved her archery skills to be better than most. Neither she nor her siblings are married, choosing to settle their lives on their own before adding someone to them. Svan does not think she will find a man as good as her father, and believes she will live her life alone, and content with that fact.

Personality:Svanhild is usually a very calm person. It is not hard to put her in a good mood, as she rarely holds on to grudges. While it takes a lot to make her angry, once she passes a certain point, her rage is explosive, and cannot be contained. Her parents have tried to teach her to calm herself when she feels her anger coming on, and she usually can. She has not had an episode in two years, the last time she had one was during a raid when she took an arrow to her calf. Like the berserkers of old, she does not remember what happens when her anger takes over, and so she does anything she can to prevent it.
Usually the first to laugh, Svan can find joy in most anything. She can be shy around those who do not understand how dangerous she can be when angry, which is why she is most often with her family. Aside from raids, Svan has no desire to leave Uddevalla, what she loves the most about the city is the walls.
They close her in and make her feel protected, while giving her a good vantage point for offense or defense if there is an attack. Svan can be somewhat absentminded, which prevents her from having pets that require constant care. In battle, she is a skilled archer, killing enemies swiftly with her bow.
