Hello there, fellow Vikings fan.
First of all we want to welcome you to this Vikings RPG. We are so glad to have you here, because you reading this means we got your interest at some point. We are going to tell you about this RPG content and how you can sign up to join us in this incredible writing journey.
We're going to start with explaining what this forum is. You probably have read the term ‘RPG’ a couple of times, but what is it exactly? RPG is short for Role Play Game. Like the words say: It is a game where you play some kind of role. The roles in this game are obviously filled with Vikings. You may be wondering how this game is played, because there isn’t much moving stuff on this forum. Well it does not work like a PS3 or something, it is actually much more simple: You play it with your mind and your fingers. You turn your imagination into stories, and share them with others.
But before you can start, you have to make a character. You have to make up a character in your mind that would fit in the Vikings universe. When you have it in your mind you need to write it down in a character sheet. A character sheet is a place where you can collect all the information that others need to know about your character.
In the next post you will find all the exact steps you need to take to ‘register’ to this RPG and start your writing journey.
