The Kingdom of Archades is an active, daily-posting, member driven writing community who welcomes creative, quality, and mature people seeking an RP home.

Within a week’s time, the fabric of Archades had been irrevocably altered as the tensions in the Deveraux family came to an explosive head. Murder struck at the very heart, killing not only the King, but resulting in the deaths of his two eldest daughters; the fourth fled her treacherous uncle for her very life. Yet the horrors did not stop there – many of the realm’s nobles were held hostage when the palace was sealed, others following the King and Crown Princess into the House of the Dead for their refusal to bend the knee to the Great Traitor.
Thinking quickly, the Sandoval family acted to restore order to the city and freed the nobles, reclaiming their throne. Over the next six months, more than a few changes have come to pass, bringing with it a wary quiet that lays over the realm for now.
Peace is a fragile thing, and the Sandoval hold on power is tenuous – what will the future hold for Archades?

The Kingdom of Archades is an original, AU Renaissance RPG, set in a strongly active, open forum open for three years where the emphasis is on quality, creative writing and shared ideas. New characters have been added for claims and are always welcomed, and new players are eagerly welcomed!
