Hedeby is a small village in the hills, located in Denmark. This earldom is ruled by Earl Ingstad (Lagertha). The heir presumptive of the earldom is the Prince Bjorn.
Hjortdal is a storage village not that far from Skagen. In the summer most of his many sheds are empty, houses rather quiet. But in the winter months this village is a stop in between travel routes. People often come to Hjortdal to stock their supplies and valuable possessions, staying there for the winter before traveling further to important trading villages as Kattegat. Hjortdal doesn’t have an earl or a king like some other big villages do, in charge there is an old trading master with his wife and two sons. The village doesn’t have any stronghold, walls or defenses. Everything lays rather together, for that it can be very crowded on busy days.
