• History: Jorunn is the oldest of four siblings. Her father was a horse farmer, so she’s never been a stranger to hard work or getting her hands dirty. Unlike the rest of her siblings, fighting never appealed to her, and Jorunn was happy to help her parents on the farm. When she was around twenty her father started encouraging her to find a husband, which she didn’t exactly appreciate but she knew he had her best interests at heart.

After a couple years, she finally gave in and married Sven, a farmer whose land sat beside her parents’. It wasn’t a love match but they got on well enough and eventually had two children together. However, one morning when their daughter was still a baby, Sven was thrown from his horse when the horse spooked and died immediately, leaving Jorunn to run the farm and raise their children alone. Her brothers help out as much as they can, and she’s determined to work her hardest and keep the place up and running.
