| Being early in the morning, Tobias had a few supplies to get. Leaving his home for a short while. Walking towards the village…the very busy village that he liked to stay out of when he wanted to. There always had to be reasons for going. This time it was to get things to make for supper later and make sure that his horse was well fed. So, horse feed on that list and whatever else. Also, he was thinking of getting new boots his was wearing out a little. Walking into the village of Skagen. Tobias’ eyes went to scan around the busy spots. Moving passed a few people that were getting some wheat. Nodding a few times when people had noticed him. He had performed here a few days ago. A good turnout if he said so himself. One that he did not think would draw a crowd and he was wrong. Thinking of performing again in two days’ time. Just had to make sure he had some good new pieces to work with. To him it was never good to perform music that people have already heard. Since if he were the audience and heard the same thing he’d get fed up and throw tomatoes. Speaking of tomatoes, he needed some of that for his stew. Trying to make his way over to the vegetable stand. Almond eyes just trying to think what would look good. Some of the tomatoes were good others seemed to be going rotten. Placing some in a sack that he had with him. Seeing some other vegetables that he needed and just went for it. They were at a fair price, which was rare these days. Keeping his head down and minding his own business. It was not too long before he accidentally bumped into someone. Hoping he did not knock the someone over and looked over to see who it was, “I apologize,” he went to speak. @[Cecilie Kjaransdóttir] |

| After checking in on Alvina first thing in the morning, Cecilie was slowly making her way through the village. She needed to pick up a few things for her parents, and it couldn’t hurt to grab something to go with dinner. They were probably having fish, but that was life when your brother was a fisherman. Fish had always been abundant even before Dómi had changed professions, so at least she knew a few different ways to dress it up and break up the monotony of eating fish for nearly every meal.
All of these trips into the market and center of the village usually lasted Cecilie far longer than they should have, but she was always hoping to spot a familiar face. A few conversations with the right people, and it could really get the word out that she was back, and available if anyone found themselves in need of a healer.
She was meant to be meeting one of Freyja’s sisters later that afternoon, and was pretty excited about that. She’d never taught anyone how to be a healer before, but she was optimistic. She always was. A bit lost in thought as she picked out some vegetables to go with dinner, and simultaneously tried to decide where to even start when it came to teaching someone with very little experience how to become a healer, Cecilie hadn’t been paying enough attention to her surroundings, and ended up bumping into someone she hadn’t even realized was beside her. “I’m so sorry!” she announced, at about the same time the other person, a man, also apologized.
Looking up at his face, Cecilie’s brow furrowed as she tried to place him. She was certain she knew him. “It was my fault, I wasn’t paying attention,” she answered, feeling badly for being too preoccupied. This wasn’t at all what she’d had in mind when she’d thought about spotting familiar faces in the village, but she wasn’t going to be picky about it either. “I know you, don’t I?” she asked before her eyes widened a bit at her own question. “I’m sorry, that was rude, wasn’t it? It was.” She was just going to stop talking now. |

| Hearing a familiar female voice and had went to apologize as soon as he had. The young man had no idea that he would run into other people that he had known in his past. Pasts are there to haunt him. At the same time, he was happy to see Cecilie. It was nice to see her face through all the crowd. Shaking his head as she went to tell him that it had been her fault. Maybe they were both at fault and call it even? Most men probably wouldn’t let her off like that, but he saw no need in making a fuss. ”And neither was I, miss,” he replied. Sine he had been searching for vegetables as they made contact with one another.
Tobias’ almond eyes looked her over to make sure his eyes were not fooling him. There had been many women in the village. Yet, she started to be more and more familiar to him. However, she did leave with her brothers before. At least that is whom he had thought she was. If not then he was starting to confuse her with someone else. ”Aren’t you sure? Or are you just trying to confirm it?” he asked with a chuckle.
He could keep this game going. Acting like they didn’t know one another. Though he had not been to many other places, but Skagen. It was his brother Othello who went and fought the battles that the village needed. That only wanted him for a sword partner. Some brother he was. He loved his brother, but at times it showed that Othello was only his half-brother.
Shaking his head, ”A little bold I would say,” he told her and placed an onion in his bag and raised his eyebrow. They were much younger when they knew each other. So this should be a fun and challenging game for him. It was nice to have someone in the village he could somewhat connect with and not have to be all up tight. @[Cecilie Kjaransdóttir] |
