The nature around Skagen is really calm. There isn't very much to see apart from water and sand. A little more inwards the land there is a forest, but the people from Skagen don't go there very often because of their lack of knowledge.
Most of the work that is being done in Skagen, is outside the walls. Farmers and fisherman take care of the food that is needed for the residents of Skagen. They live in houses just outside the wooden fences around the village. In that way they can keep an eye on their property.
There is a lot going on inside the walls of Skagen since Halfdan the Black took over the title as earl. Some people accept the fact that there is a new leader, others revolt against the new insurgency. But the work that has to be done, is being taken care of. The people that work inside the wooden fences of Skagen, also live there.
