• HISTORY
There are not much notable things about Freyr's childhood. He sometimes could hear his parents have an argument, but he knew they loved each other very much. They loved him very much as well, so the little boy lived in an environment that allowed him to just be a child and play. Thanks to Rigas' rank as hersir, they had a comfortable house to live in. When he got older, either his mother or father would take him outside the walls, to explore the nature of Skagerrak.
   
When Freyr was about 12 years old, he was allowed to visit the horse stables. Always under the supervision of either one of his parents or one of their loyal friends. Soon he started to get a little obsessed over his new 'job', and he spend as much time as possible at the stables. That's where he met Kettil Hagensson, one of the stable boys. He admired how he bonded with the horses so easily and wanted to learn those skills as well.
   
After approximately two years, his whole world was turned upside down. He wasn't as involved in the political struggles of Skagerrak, but one day his father challenged the earl to a one on one battle. Rigas was victorious, and he earned the title of earl by killing the previous one. Since that day, everything was different. He went from a being regular young boy to being a teenager with more prestige. Something he could handle on some days and couldn't on others.
   
His relationship with Kettil changed a bit, but he kept visiting the stable daily. He also started training with weapons, a sword being his favourite. Over the years he learned a lot about having responsibilities, often observing his father while he was doing his duties as earl of Skagerrak.
