| Things had been going a lot better for Alvina since she first arrived in this new village. She had met someone so very helpful names Freyja, and she helped her get to the Tavern. The tavern owner offered her a job in exchange for her room, and she was actually able to make some money too. She worked at the tavern doing much of the same things she did when she was living with king Vidar, but this time she was free and she was getting payed. The first few weeks of being free had been weird for her. To not have to do what anyone else said she had to do was nice. To wake up and have a choice on what you were going to do was even better. On top of all of that, her morning sickness was getting better everyday, and she wasn't getting sick nearly as much. She had also started to show just a little bit, to see she as in the early stages of pregnancy. At least she hoped that was what it looked like, and that she didn't just look fat. With all the extra money she had been making, she had been able to save up for some new clothes, and other items. Her goal was to save enough to maybe even buy a house in this village. So when she had her baby, she would have a stable living area for them. She had the day off, and had decided to go out to the market to see what kind of things she could start buying for the baby and storing up. She wanted to have everything she needed well in advance, so that when she had the baby, and she had to take a break from working, her and her baby wouldn't be needing for things at all. It was hard though, because she hadn't had the same education as everyone else in the world being a thrall, and she had never really been around a baby before. so she wasn't sure of everything she was going to need. Alvina bought the things that seemed like common sense, but she was sure there were things she didn't know she needed. Alvina wanted to ask someone for help, but she also knew she couldn't give away the fact that she was a run away Thrall. She would get sent back to Vidar, and most likely killed the moment the baby was ripped from her body, if not killed on the spot for running away the way she did. Alvina had just finished at the market and was going to make her way back to the Tavern, when she bumped right into a man and almost fell over. To keep from falling over, and hurting her baby, she grabbed onto the man in front of her shoulders. "Oh my, I am sorry" she said as she looked up to the mans face that she had been grabbing onto. Letting go of him, her face goes bright red. "I just didn't want to fall, I didn't mean to grab onto you." she said to him next. It took everything in her body not to cower away form him out of fear he was going to strike her for touching him. If it had been Vidar, she was sure that was in the list of the many things he would do if she had done something similar to him. "Are you alright sir?" she said looking at him. The more she looked at him the more she was sure she had seen him before, but it was most likely around the village. She hardly spoke to anyone, and kept to herself most days. |

| It was a busy day around the market. Especially now that it was winter. Cold and snowing. So people needed a lot to keep themselves warm. And food a lot of food. He however had food enough. Especially on the farm. He actually could make everything he needed himself. But he… needed to come out more as Haskell said and now that he had made some friends… He actually enjoyed the outside world. He realised how much he had missed it, to be between people. To see them. Just like he had when his mother was still around. Going out with her. Helping the people, laughing and singing. He almost had forgotten how it felt. But it felt just like then and it felt like he was finally really free… And it was as if he finally was able to breathe again. Even though it was cold air he was breathing in and it did make his nose sting a bit at the moment. He still loved every second of it. But today he hadn’t just come to be around the people. He wanted to have some extra fur for this coming winter and not just for him. But also some for his bunnies and his dogs. He knew that even if they were inside a stable, close to each other it still could get cold and he wanted to give his beloved animals a warm place to sleep. Warm soft and dry. Especially now that some of the dogs had some puppies.
So moving between the people he was trying to look for furs that seemed just the right size. But also for those who… Well didn’t cost to much as it was for his animals and not for him. He also would try to trade rather than pay for it with money. Trades were handy and he liked them more. Because well they both would get more out of it. Especially because both him and the one selling would get what they wanted. But walking around here… he saw a lot of cute places… But also a lot of people just celling fish and there was a lot of fish going around! The ground on some spaces was bloodied with it. And it did smell a bit to fish and salt. But it had its charms that was for sure. Though he rather had the smell of his farm. Maybe that had been one other reason why he didn’t come out much…
His eyes went to one of the sellers who did seem to sell fur and just as he wanted to turn to walk to it, someone bumped into him and seemed to fall. He let out a quick sorry as he turned to the one who bumped into him just as he was going to grab the young woman from falling. She was already holding into him. "Oh my, I am sorry" As she apologised he got a better look at her. A sweet young girl and… well she… Had he seen her before? He shook it off mentally as he stood up straight and smiled as she let him go and her face seemed to blossom red. "I just didn't want to fall, I didn't mean to grab onto you." He let out a light laugh and rubbed the back of his haid. His hand slightly going through his hair before it fell back to his side. She seemed so panicked over such a little thing. ”It is fine, if you wouldn’t have grabbed into me. I would have grabbed you anyway.” He wouldn’t want to let a young girl fall like that. Especially because… it would be his fault, he didn’t watch where he was going.
He nodded and smiled as she asked if he was alright. Before he looked over her and got a light worried look in his eyes. ”Are you?” it seemed as if she was… carrying? Oh he would feel even worst if that was the case… he stared in her eyes. ”I am sorry I wasn’t looking where I was going…” He said a bit more serious, before thinking about it and getting a genius idea. His eyes lit up a bit. ”Let me make it up to you!”

| Alvnia smiled at him when he spoke. ”It is fine, if you wouldn’t have grabbed into me. I would have grabbed you anyway.” he said to her and she thought that was kind. Most people in her home would let her fall and walk away without a second care. A lot of the people of Uddevalla were mean and cruel, at least the one she had come into contact with were. Not all of course, Redar was a sweet girl, and the first one to be kind to her in years. Since the queen had died. It seemed like most of the people here in Skagen were kind however, and it made her want to stay here even more. To stay with the people who were nice and treated her like a person and not an object. She was free here, she was just Alvina, a girl working at the tavern. Not Alvina the slave that tried to steal from the king. Something that she would regret for the rest of her life. However she was going to get a beautiful baby out of it. So she would do her best to keep her mind off all the negative aspects of it, and only on the positive ones. She smiled when she saw him nod his head that he was in fact okay. Then he was asking if she was okay, and she smiled at him brighter. "Yes I am well, I was just worried...about my baby.." she said motioning to her stomach a little awkwardly. ”I am sorry I wasn’t looking where I was going…” she heard the man say to her next and she smiled. "I wasn't looking as well. So I am sorry to." she tells him with a small smile. Alvina would feel badly if he was to take all the blame for this little encounter. She had, had her mind on other thoughts as she had been walking as well, and if she had been paying attention she might not have ran into him. She was just glad that the all seemed to be okay, and that she hadn't fallen. She was sure falling while pregnant was something you shouldn't do. It just seemed like common sense to her. She was just about to find a way to excuse herself when she saw his face light up. The next words that come out of the mans mouth make her surprised. ”Let me make it up to you!” he said to her and she wasn't even sure how to reply to him. She had said she was at fault too, and he wanted to do something for her to make it up to her. "Oh, umm..you don't have to.." she says to him first with a little bit of a blush taking over her cheeks again. "I would rather know your name..first too..if you are set on doing something...even though you don't have to." she says to him before biting on the side of her lip. "I am Alvina, Alvina Odinsdóttir..." she says to him as she sticks out her hand to him and gets ready to shake it. That seemed to be how everyone here greeted one another when meeting, so she wanted to do the right thing. |

| When the young girl mentioned that she was worried for her baby he got a light frown on his face. Oh how bad he would have felt if something really bad had happened… Well maybe he would not have known but still… He also didn’t feel like getting an angry father on his ass. Especially not for something silly as a bump in. How tragic that would be especially now that he finally had decided to come out more. He didn’t want to go back into hiding for…. Well not that it mattered, for nothing bad had happened and she and the child she was carrying were all right and she did not have to say it even as he bright smile and the slightly pink coloured cheeks seemed to say enough. She had some kind of sparkle in her eyes… And it was maybe indeed them both who weren’t watching were they were going. As always not just one person was in the wrong doing here. But still… As he thought of what could have happened, and how badly something this silly could have turned he somewhere felt inclined to do something back to the young girl.
Even when she said he didn’t have to… He did feel like doing something. After all… He smiled. It could be something small like maybe keeping her company around the market just to make sure nothing like this happened again. Though he was sure she and him alike would be looking were they were going from now on. Then again he knew himself and he could sink back into his own silly thoughts pretty fast. So maybe he wasn’t the safest person to be around on a place like this. But then he also didn’t want to take a no for answer. "I would rather know your name..first too..if you are set on doing something...even though you don't have to." He smiled at her words. He was very set on the thought he had and on doing something at the very least and if all she wanted to have for it was his name then he would give it to her with an open heart.
He blinked a bit as she held out her hand and introduced herself as Alvina Odinsdóttir. Somewhere in the back of his head some bells started ringing as the name sounded so familiar to him. Had he heard it somewhere before? He wasn’t sure but he… he knew for sure that he knew it from somewhere, he just… couldn’t quit say… where from. But he shrugged it off pretty quickly and accepted the hand. Shaking hers back with a firm grip of his own. ”Alvina is a beautiful name.” He said to her with a smile before letting out a small laugh. Letting his hand slip from hers. ”And seems like we have the same farther then.” He said giving her a wink. For here in these parts he was known as Vern Odinsson and nothing else but that. A silly care free farmer that popped up one day. Gods only knew from where as his past was quite the mystery and it would stay that way till he decided otherwise or till the day fate came through.
”I am Vern odinsson.” He said with a smile and then looked around. Now what should he do to make it up to her… Maybe he could buy her something… if she was here she was looking for something no? Or was she just passing through. If that was the case then. Well he wasn’t quite sure. He looked back at her and gave her a small smile. Still believing he had seen her somewhere before and knew the name. Maybe he had passed her on the street before? Could be.. Not that it mattered anyway. ”Please allow me to accompany you for today.” He said turning back towards her. ”Just to make sure other accidents are avoided?” That seemed like a fair idea no? And she seemed like good company to be around so they both might enjoy it.

| Alvina was still convinced that this nice man in front of her did not need to do anything for them both bumping into one another, however he was offering, so she told him she wanted to at least know his name. She met people when they came into the tavern, but she really didn't go out of her way to talk to anyone other than that. She was still a run away slave, and all it took was talking to the wrong person and she would be found. Being found meant she was going to be sent back, and being sent back meant death, or at the very least the beating of her life. Alvina was not going to let that happen, she was not going back to that man, however making a few friends here and there was not going to be something that got her in trouble. Besides this man seemed so nice and friendly, so talking to him and becoming his friend wouldn't be so bad of an idea. He was also rather handsome too, but she was not looking for men, she was looking for friend. Alvnia wasn't even sure if she would ever want to be with a man after what happened, the whole idea of it made her want to vomit at the moment, that was for sure. She hears him say ”Alvina is a beautiful name.” to her and she smiles, and blushes more. No one had ever told her that her name was beautiful before, and she thought it was rather nice of him. ”And seems like we have the same farther then.” the man said next, and then she was confused. Why would he think they had the same father? ”I am Vern odinsson.” he said next and then it downed on her, yes that they were both bastard born people. The name Vern, she knew that, it was the lost princes name. Alvina looked that this man, Vern a little closer. He looked familiar to her, she had thought that before. However he could have just come into the tavern one night and she had forgotten. His name was Vern, like the prince, and he might even look like him a little bit, but then again other people could be named Vern. So she didn't want to jump to conclusions, but she was going to be very guarded around him, until she learned more. If this was the lost prince she was going to have to move again. "Vern is a very nice name as well." she decides to say to him. Giving him another soft smile. Maybe she should think of a way to get away still, but then she would feel horrible if he just had the same name and she was being paranoid. She would have missed out on a perfectly good friend because of her fear of King Vidar, and losing this new freedom she had just been given. ”Please allow me to accompany you for today.” she hears Vern say next and she bites her lip. Letting him accompany her would give her the time to learn more about him, but it would let him learn more about her as well. ”Just to make sure other accidents are avoided?” he adds in to her with a smile of his own. Slowly, she nodded her head at him. "You may accompany me if you like, that is very nice of you... just know that you do not have too do so" she tells him first. "It shall give us more time to get to know one another" she adds in to him next. Hoping she wasn't being to bold she decided to speak more. " So how long have you lived her? I just got here myself...the people are very nice, and the environment is great too" she says. Starting out with small talk, and if things didn't stay awkward, they could talk even more. "Much better then my past home" she says next without thinking. However she does her best to keep the calmest face on, and brush it off the best she can. |

| As he had complimented her on her name she did the same for his. He had to say he was quite proud of his name, even if he could not fully use it. He knew it was the name that was meant for him and he liked to keep it. Otherwise he would have changed his name completely. He sometimes did think that that might have been better. But then he also had the feeling he would have thrown away everything and he did not want that. He did not want to slice his past from himself at all. He wanted away for many reasons. He didn’t even mean to betray his father, he only meant to… Well not that it mattered anymore anyway, he was already seen as a traitor though not through his own eyes. But the compliment was not exactly what he was waiting for, he was waiting for her to accept his offer. Of course is she decided not to… he could honestly say he would be sad. For well this was a chance to make a new friend and he quite liked that thought. For he felt he was finally living again.
It didn’t take long for her to give him an answer. "You may accompany me if you like, that is very nice of you... just know that you do not have to do so." He smiled and even let out a chuckle as he knew well enough that he did not have too. ”I know.” he said giving her another smile while looking in her eyes. ”But I want to.” He said soon after as it was the truth. "It shall give us more time to get to know one another." And that was exactly why he had offered it to her. Well the fact non other accidents would happen would of course too. He smiled and then looked at her, and then around the place, he wondered what she was here for. He slowly started to walk making sure she did as well. As he adapted to her pace. Looking straight and going silent she was the one to break the silence very soon again.
”So how long have you lived her? I just got here myself...the people are very nice, and the environment is great too" He smiled softly and looked back at her. He agreed. The environment was great, friendly people, the sea close by. Those reasons were the once that made him decide to stay here. He liked it here because it seemed peaceful. At least at the moment and well Haskell had played a big part in it as well. Without him… he probably would have moved on and would have become a traveller. "Much better than my past home" He frowned a bit hearing those words. So she too was running from something she did not want to be part of it seemed. ”I have lived here for some years now.”[b] he said giving her a smile. [b]”Before that I was a wanderer.” What wasn’t exactly a lie he had wandered some weeks… months even before settling here. ”And I agree on all you say, it is a wonderful place, full of like.” And he hoped it could continue being the way it was.
He took a breath and looked straight thinking about it, before he looked back at her. [b]”My I ask from where you came?” He was curios just a bit and well… he still had the feeling he knew her, so if she was from… Uddevalla. Then maybe he seemed familiar because he had once known her and then… Well then. He wasn’t sure. First he just had to know and he did not want to jump to stupid conclusions because he was still paranoid.

| Alvina smiles at him when she hears him ”I know.” after she tells him he doesn't have to do anything for her. Vern seemed to be such a sweet man. ”But I want to.” he says to her next, and he was starting to make her glad that she had bummed into him in the first place. She had told herself that she as going to swear off all men, but in men were like him, and less like Vidar, maybe she wouldn't need to swear them all off. Maybe someday when she was feeling ready, she would be able to find someone and fall in love. However it was far too soon for those kinds of thought and all she wanted right now was friendship. People to meet with and get to know, people to trust and become close with. Something she really never had before in her life. This ability to make choices, and chose what she wanted. It was one of the many benefits of running away from her owner like she did. Vern started to walk forward, and she made sure to quickly walk with him. He adjusted his pace so he could walk at her speed, and Alvina thought that was also very kind of him to do. He was just full of kindness she thought. Something so different from the men she had known growing up. Minus the prince that is, he had always been kind to her before he disappeared those years ago. It made him even more curious about his name being the same as the lost prince as well. The walked in a quite silence for a little while before she decided they needed to talk more. She really did want to get to know him more, and to see if she could figure out more about him. ”I have lived here for some years now.” he says to her first and she nods her head. He walked around here like he knew the area well, so it made sense to her that he had been here for a while. She smiles when he does, and makes sure to look at him and give him her full attention. ”Before that I was a wanderer.” he says to her next. Alvina thinks that is amazing, to be able to move around all the time, and see the world. She would have to ask him about some of the places he had been, if he would let her that is. ”And I agree on all you say, it is a wonderful place, full of like.” he adds in next and she nods her head. She was glad that she had been able to get on a boat and come here. If she could stay safe here she had no plans of ever leaving. Things had been going so well, and she had planed on asking him more things and speaking in return when she hears him ask something else. ”My I ask from where you came?” he asks her and Alvina feels like her whole world would fall apart. This was maybe something she should have figure out before hand, but she knew of no other village names but her and Uddevalla. Vern seemed like a good man, but if he was the lost Vern, and he realized she was one of his fathers old slaves, one of his old slaves, would he try to make her be his slave here? "You may ask" she says to him slowly. Taking a deep breath she decides she can tell him the truth, if he answers poorly she can get away from him and then run. She had money, if she had to leave here she could. Even if she really didn't want to do that yet.
"I am from Uddevalla...its a horrible place and I hope I never have to go back" she tells him with a far away look in her eyes. "The people are cruel, and I have no nice memories or thought about that place." she tells him next before shaking her head and giving him a half smile. "I'm sorry, you were just asking a question, I didn't mean to make things sad." Alvina says to him next. "What was wandering like, did you go anywhere amazing?" she asks in attempt to change the subject and make things less weird and awkward as she had just made them for them. |

| Her answer to him was slowly and the only thing she really did say was that he could ask. So did that mean that it was a sensitive subject? Of course it would be she said here was much better than her old home so that meant she didn’t like the place. Well still he was curious so he had asked. But it did not seem as if she would answer. What was her right. After all he had just asked if he could. He didn’t mind either, he should not be preying in her life. He heard her take a deep breath as if she was thinking about telling him still. But he kept quiet he would not say any more not pus her to say anything she didn’t want too. But what she said next made his breath stuck in his throat. It made his lungs lose all the air was in there. His blood ran cold even and it felt as if he just came eye in eye with judge end. "I am from Uddevalla...it’s a horrible place and I hope I never have to go back"
At first he did not know what to do. He stared at her and feared he would freeze up completely. But his body seemed to react on its own and mover forward though he felt his own soul freeze over. His eyes slowly moving forward staring at nothing. As he tried to act normal. But for the first time in forever someone mentioned his birthplace. The place he was meant to rule… The place he had fled. And now that he finally did have someone from there! NEXT TO HIM! He was not prepared! He never had thought what he should do if someone actually… What should he do!? He did not know but… He started to think… Did he know her… His mind started to run. As flash backs started to fill his head so much that it made him dizzy and once again he felt as if he could not take up any air. He did knew her… But she had changed so much… She had been a slave no? Was he mistaken? No… but then what if she recognised him what if!? He could feel himself go in a panicking state and he had to prevent that from happening!
So slowly as they walked he looked away a bit and took a slow breath. Almost a shaky one and he prayed to the gods that she did notice. Panicking would not help. He was a damn warrior a prince! He needed to think and use his brains! Even if it had been a long time they should not have shrunken that much jet. So! She had ran away from Uddevalla no? It must be so and she said it was a horrible place… What somewhere made him wonder how horrible it could have become… As he still was worried for his people and even his father and of course his sister. He slowly looked at her still being silent as she continued to speak. "The people are cruel, and I have no nice memories or thought about that place." His eyes got a bit darker but dark from the sadness in them. He really did feel sorry that she had to live in a place like that and he imagined that if she was who he thought she was that her life took a turn for the worst after… all that happened.
"I'm sorry, you were just asking a question, I didn't mean to make things sad." and after that What was wandering like, did you go anywhere amazing?" She said and it made him snap out of the frightened thoughts he had. It didn’t seem like she recognised him anyway. So he guessed he was safe and she was too. He gave her a light smile back. ”I am sorry you had to live in such a place.” And he meant what he said. He looked in her eyes as his own softened a bit. ”I hope the gods will give you a better future, you and your child.” And he meant it really.
He looked back straight as he smiled, being calm now. He should not make problems where there were none. ”And I did see amazing things.” Now he wanted to lighten up the mood. He laughed and looked back at her. ”I saw mountains as tall as giants, and rivers as wide as the sea. Flowing with golden fish.” He said and looked back at her smiled. Oh he could tell stories but the mountains was what he loved the most as he once had hoped to be king under the mountains. With rivers flowing full of gold like the song his mother had sang to him. But that hope had become a dream. But still even if it was a dream it was a nice one. @Alvina Odinsdóttir |

| Alvina was nervous of what he was going to say to her after she told him she was from Uddevalla. If he knew people there it could be a problem for her. He could turn her in, but she wanted to trust that he would not do anything like that. However she was a slave on the run, ands he had to be careful. she should have been smarter. She should have thought of a place to say or make up before she started to talk to people like this, but it was too late. from now on she would have to tell people she was from Uddevalla, and hope for the best. If things went badly, she would pack up the things she had been buying and saving for her child and leave. She couldn't go back there, and she wouldn't let that monster have this child. It was hers and she knew she had to protect it from him. ”I am sorry you had to live in such a place.” she hears him say to her, and Alvina looks over to him and gives him a small smile. He was a kind man, and maybe she was having panic for nothing at all. ”I hope the gods will give you a better future, you and your child.” Vern says to her next and she smiles and nods her head at him. "Thank you, I hope so as well." she says to him before looking away again. She knew very little about any of the gods, but she hoped they would do as he hoped as tell. "As long as the father never finds us, we share be safe." she says to him next before her eyes widen and she wants to run away again.
"I mean...just...he is an awful man. Forget I said that please." she says to him next before she tells him she is sorry for making things to sad. Changing the subject to him, and his travels. ”And I did see amazing things.” she hears him say and she gives him a smile as she waits for him to go on, and to give her more information. ”I saw mountains as tall as giants, and rivers as wide as the sea. Flowing with golden fish.” he said to her next and her face lights up at his words. That sounded so nice. The places he had to have seen, that was such an amazing thought to her. Alvina had only ever seen one place in her whole life her then Skagen, and before that she mostly lived in the manner. Vidar hardly trusted the Thralls to go outside for he knew that he was horrible and that they would surly run away if they could. That sounds beautiful. Ive seen very little of the world, maybe someday I should wander as well." she says to him before deciding to go on. "Where was this place? The place with the mountains?" she asks him. Talking to Vern was easy she found,it was like she felt familiar with him. If this was the lost prince that would make sense. She knew him growing up, as she was a thrall in his home. "I would like to maybe go there, to see more then here and inside the mansion." she says next without thinking about it at all until the words have left her mouth. Biting her lip and hard, Alvina swallows as she hoped he pays no mind to the comment. If he did she would run away, find a reason to leave, say she was feeling sick, something to get away and figure out what to do next. Maybe she should never talk to people, that way she wouldn't make this many mistakes. |

| He looked back at Alvina when she said that as long as the father wouldn’t find them they would be safe. He wanted to say he knew how that felt. Though he couldn’t. But he knew how heavy the weight could be when you were trying to hide away from things of the past. It was strange how you could run away for so long, hide away in the darkness where no one ever would find you. But the moment you came back into the light that past seemed to come and catch up to you. Telling him he was just a horrible man and to forget she even said that he just gave her a light smile. If that was what she wanted then he would not speak of it further. But he was curious to how she had escaped, and somewhere also who this man was she spoke of. He knew that there were a lot of dreadful people who would… rape a woman. He at least assumed it had been rape and not out of love. Otherwise he didn’t think she would have run away. Well everyone had their own reasons for doing something and he would not question a woman. His mother had always told him not to question a woman. For a man would never be able to understand them. He had always found that she was talking crazy. Fighting her and saying that a man could understand everything if he wanted. But being all grown up now… He had to say that his mother had been right. Even he had no idea why some women did what they did or what was going on in their heads. So… he decided to do what his mother had said in the first place and not question anything they did. That way worked best for both ways.
As he spoke of his travels it seemed he had gotten Alvina excited and he was glad to see at least a slight gleam in her eyes after she had spoken of such a sad an dreadful subject. He hoped she as well would be able to forget that past she had lived. ”That sounds beautiful. Ive seen very little of the world, maybe someday I should wander as well." He smiled at the thought. Maybe she should. Wandering was a great experience and he did truly believe you could learn most out of wandering. For you never knew what would come, and you saw things you couldn’t imagen. Learn to know the world and that way you could learn to know yourself. One more reason he had left his homeland. For he wasn’t sure who he was anymore or what he had become. Fearing he would have become a ghost like his father had. He did not want that, couldn’t see it happening. But instead of being brave and standing tall he had run away. Did he regret it? Some days he did. Other day’s he still believed it had been the best choice. Either way he would still believe it was the will of the gods. "Where was this place? The place with the mountains?" She continued and he smiled at her. Looking back at her and seeing her own sweet smile. She looked quite beautiful like this. "I would like to maybe go there, to see more then here and inside the mansion." She said next and it made a very light frown come on his face.
He stopped walking and turned to her, a quite serious look in his eyes. But nothing to threatening. He now seemed to remember who she was. He did, and somewhere he knew he wanted her to remember him as well. After all she was someone from his past. A good past that he liked to remember from time to time. One he had tried to forget but that would not work, and she being here seemed like a thread trying to pull him back in those days. But he also knew it was best if she did not remember. But he also did not want her to worry. ”Alvina… I know where you came from and what you were.” He said slowly not trying to alarm her. ” And I want you to know, that your secret is safe with me.” His gaze was determined, one he only showed very rarely. It was clear with just looking in his eyes that he meant what he had just said. He would not tell anyone what she had been, where she came from. She was free now and he would not steal away that freedom from her. He gave her a smile. Before he turned his gaze away a bit and looked up at the sky. A very light smile coming on his lips. ”And to find those mountains, you only need to follow the horizon.” No matter what way, if you just followed the horizon anyone could find the place they truly wanted to see. |

| Alvina knew that he had heard her mistake when she watched Vern stop walking and turn toward her. Never in her life had her heart been beating this fast. Taking a deep breath she looking at long and hard as she waited for him do something. Alvina was scared, almost as scared as when she was attacked by King Vidar. For the look on his face was no longer carefree and fun, it was serious and that worried her. ”Alvina… I know where you came from and what you were.” she hears him say to her first, and its like her heart stopped all at once. So this really was the long lost prince Vern. She should have trusted her gut the moment she heard his name and left earlier. However she had held hope that they were just two different people. This knew made her want to run away so badly. To run and to hide, but she also wanted to be strong. She had just started to make a new life for herself here. Alvina was happy here and she didn't want to have to start all over once more. ” And I want you to know, that your secret is safe with me.” were the next words that came out of his mouth and Alvina bit her lip as she looked at his face. Trying to see if she can tell if he is just lying to her face or not. When she saw no hint of him lying to her, it calmed her heart just a bit, but it also upset her. This mans monster of a father hurt her, and did this to her. He was the father of her child. While she would make sure to love the child, it would always be a reminder of what had happened to her that day. Vern smiles at her and she just watches him for a moment before he turned his face toward the sky and spoke. ”And to find those mountains, you only need to follow the horizon.” he says to her last. Letting out a breath of air Alvina looks toward the sky herself for a moment before looking back to him. She felt so many emotions all at once as she got ready to speak to him in return. "Then I know who you are as well. I had thought so when we first met, but I wasn't sure. Other people could be named vern, and you look older...different." she says to him trying to stay calm, but she was sure Vern would be able to see the storm of emotions on her face. "I have a hard time believing you, seeing as your father is the one who raped and beat me, but you are not him...So I'll do my best to trust you. To trust you are nothing like him. For we are not our parents." she says next. Her face getting red as she fights herself to stay calm in public like this. She is talking lowly, so only he will hear her. She doesn't want to ruin his life here as long as he wont ruin hers. She looks away for a moment before taking a small step back. "If you don't ruin this life I've made for myself, then I wont ruin yours. I just want a safe life for my child....your sibling I suppose. Vidar has no idea I am with child, and I plan to keep it that way. He's worse then before you left, so much worse." she says to him next before shivering as she thought of the monster of a king. "You left to get away, and so did I...I always liked you as a child...before everything happened...but I do not trust you right now...and I'm sorry if that hurts your feelings...but I don't care" she says to him next taking another step away from him. Still debating running away and hiding, but she had to be strong in this. Or she was never going to be okay again. "No one has cared about my feelings my entire life...so its hard for me to care for others." she say to him next before she closing her eyes and a few tears slip out. Crossing her arms over her stomach she opens her eyes and looks at him. She needs to hear what he will say before she will take off on him. |

| With his eyes over clouding with feelings he had been hidden for a long time his gaze slowly moved back from the sky to Alvina who was standing in front of him. His chest tightening seeing how her gaze moved to the sky as well. Just by the look she had in her eyes he could tell that his words… had triggered her and he knew that for this woman his identity was no longer hidden. He had known that what he had said was a risk, though had hoped she would just have listened to the meaning behind them and not what they actually seemed to be. But it seemed that his hopes for that would soon be shattered into pieces and it made even his stomach turn hard. For years he had worried, tried so hard to stay hidden. He actually had days were he just was Vern the farmer and that his past disappeared completely. But always had he been afraid to come out. Now he finally had dared to set that step. And the moment he had done it seemed like he had ruined it all in one second and the tight sickening feeling he had now he hadn’t felt in years. It was the same feeling he had when he had watched his father chance. A feeling that made him want to throw up. As if someone just had spun an axe in his chest. But even with those feelings he also somewhere felt calm. Even when the eyes of the girl in front of him showed so many emotions at once. And as she spoke to him it seemed as if all the rest of the world just seemed to fall apart. Leaving just him and her standing in the dark.
"Then I know who you are as well. I had thought so when we first met, but I wasn't sure. Other people could be named Vern, and you look older...different." He had hoped that she would still think that he was just a Vern. But it was clear there was no turning back from this. Her words seemed to ram into his ears like a beating drum and it even made his blood run cold. "I have a hard time believing you, seeing as your father is the one who raped and beat me, but you are not him...So I'll do my best to trust you. To trust you are nothing like him. For we are not our parents." It was as if someone just stabbed him with a knife. But also images of his father the person he once knew, somehow started to go grim and dark. Replacing them with images of a man who rape and beat a woman… a slave. It made the blood run out of his face and his eyes clouded over with an empty look in them. Hard time to believe him… even though he knew he was not the man his father was. He always had feared he might once turn as dark as him. After all he was his father’s son. His blood was running through his veins and maybe it was fated for him to be just the same. It was a fear greater then he had ever had and it hurt him deeply that someone said it was hard to believe him. Even though he knew he could not blame her for it.
His eyes moved down to her feet as she took a step away. Was she afraid of him now? "If you don't ruin this life I've made for myself, then I won’t ruin yours. I just want a safe life for my child....your sibling I suppose. Vidar has no idea I am with child, and I plan to keep it that way. He's worse than before you left, so much worse." Her words seemed so cold, so painfully cold. But still shock came in his eyes as she said the child was his fathers. The child growing in his womb would be his baby brother or sister and his eyes couldn’t stop themselves of landing on her belly. His breath getting stuck in his throat and his hands formed light fists as he could feel some rage coming over him. What had his father become? How much worse had he become? Was it his fault? Did he push his father deeper into the darkness when he left? He swallowed lightly. Maybe it was, maybe if he had stayed he could have prevented it from happening? He could feel himself break from the inside. Why had he not thought about that the moment he ran away. "You left to get away, and so did I...I always liked you as a child...before everything happened...but I do not trust you right now...and I'm sorry if that hurts your feelings...but I don't care" He heard what she said, but then somewhere else he also didn’t. As a child… He had been so foolish… Maybe he still was just a stupid fool.
His gaze started to grow cold, like he was looking upon a ghost as he looked down at the ground. "No one has cared about my feelings my entire life...so it’s hard for me to care for others." He watched her take another step back. And then slowly looked into her eyes. It was clear that somewhere inside him something seemed to have been broken and the words he spoke were silent. His voice even seeming raw. ”I am sorry.” And he truly was sorry for what had happened to her. Somewhere believing he might have been able to avoid it if he had stayed… But he could not change what happened, he now could only work for a better future. ”I am not the man my father is.” If anything he was the man his father once had been. For his father had not always been so cruel and cold. Yes always a strong and stern ruler. But kind in his own way… happy and knowing what it was to be loved.
His hand moved up to be placed on her arm. But he stopped midway seeing the tears on her cheek. A sad smile coming on his lips. He was just sorry and he didn’t know if he had the right words to say what he actually wanted to say. He let his hand fall back to his side as he looked down and closed his eyes for a second. Calming himself and his mind. ”I don’t blame you for not trusting me.” He said his voice sounding stronger now even determined. ”But please give me the chance to earn your trust.” He would not ask her to just trust him. He knew well enough that would not happen. But he at least wanted to chance to earn her trust. ”So that I can take care of you.” He said as he looked into her eyes and then slowly looked at her belly. A small smile coming to his lips. ”And for my sibling.” He had never thought he would get another sibling and he was not sure how to feel about it. But Alvina was carrying his blood, and he would love the child just as much as he loved his baby sister. ”Let me protect you both.” And maybe it was time for him to start protecting his father as well. His father and the people of Uddevalla. |

| Alvina stil felt like her heart was going to explode and that she was going to get sick all over herself and the ground a she looked at him and waited for him to say something, really anything to her at all about everything she had just said to him. She was worried that he would react badly, for she had talked poorly about his father, and even though Vidar was a monster, he was still this mans father. When Vern finally spoke to her, she could hear the emotions in his voice. He sounded so different then when they first bumped into one another. ”I am sorry.” he said to her first and Alvina just looked at him. He was not the one who beat her and raped her, he was just the son of the man who had. So she wasn't sure what he was saying sorry about, but she was still grateful she guessed. That someone cared that this horrible thing had happened to her in the first place. That she had been a thrall, that she had been mistreated, and everything else that had happened to her. ”I am not the man my father is.” she hears him say to her next and she nods her head at him once. She knows that, for the way he had been acting before hand had not been fake. He had been wanting to be nice to her just for bumping into her like he had done. She had been trying to control her emotions so much, but being with child made it so much more harder. That she was dealing with this all in public like this was not helping as well. She didn't want someone to hear, or for eyes to be on her to much. That could lead to her being sent back to Vidar. . ”I don’t blame you for not trusting me.” She hears him say and she looks a him. She was glad he didn't for she really didn't know him, and she hadn't had anyone to trust before hand. As Vern spoke on his voice got stronger, and it made her give him even more of her attention. ”But please give me the chance to earn your trust.” He says to her next and Alvina looks at him in shock. He cared enough that he wanted to do something like that, he wanted to earn her trust in him? No a single soul had ever said something like this to her before. It was a little overwhelming the feeling she was getting just from those words. The next set of words that come from her mouth knock the air out of her lungs. ”So that I can take care of you.” he says to her and she almost shakes her head no at him until she looks into his eyes just before he looks away and looks to her belly, to his future sibling. Alvina looks at the small smile on his lips as he makes sure to add ”And for my sibling.” to her next. I make the tears she had been trying to fight away start to fall down her face even more. ”Let me protect you both.” are his last words and the tears fall even harder. No on had wanted to protect her before, no one had cared. Part of Alvina knew that it was because she had his sibling in her body, but it still meant so much to her. That someone wanted to take care of her, that someone wanted to help her like this. She was sure, so sure she was going to have to figure this all out on her own. With the little bit of education she had been given on top of it. There was still just so many things she didn't know, and help would be nice to figure to out, but she still needed to be guarded. She needed to protect herself, and let him earn her trust like he wanted to. She couldn't let her lonely heart just let him in to quickly, for she needed to be safe for herself and her child even if it was to be his sibling. Taking a deep breath she both nodded her head yes and spoke. "Yes, I will allow you to earn my trust." she says to him first before she rubs her eyes a bit. Trying to will the tears away so that she could talk to him more clearly. Taking yet another breath to calm herself Alvina looks at him and goes on. "Once you have earned that...I'll let you help me...I've been doing okay...but there is still so much I don't know, or understand." she tells him honestly before speaking more. "I have been living at the tavern and also working there, its at least things I know how to do...and I've been making enough too...We will take this slowly, if you prove me you mean me no harm, or my child...I will allow you into our lives, and I wont leave." she tells him before crossing her arms over the baby bump. "Trusting isn't going to come easy to me...I'm not even sure I know how to trust someone...I never have." she says to him next wanting to be as honest as she can. "But I'll try if you prove to me you mean this" she says to Vern last and she looks around to see if people are looking at them. It appeared only a few had decided to give them their attention, but she wished the no one was looking at them instead. |

| His heart was still beating strong in his chest. And he still could feel his body being tense. He did not wish for this day to go like this. Actually he did not wish for this at all. After all he had hoped they never would find him. That his past was just a bad dream. Knowing it was not. He still felt really guilty about leaving too and now that he knew his father was even worse… had become worse after he had left he did fell responsible. Maybe instead of running away he should have stayed and maybe then he could have helped his father. Even though at the time he had thought that was impossible…. He had just been a fool, a child still at that time. But since he had left… he had grown, he had learned a lot about the world and its people. A lot of the ways it was and he was… he felt a stronger and better Vern then that he had been years ago. And now he would take responsibility for what he had done and maybe if the lady would let him. He could start with Alvina. That was if she would let him. He would not blame her if she didn’t. he would understand and would then make sure to stay out of her way if that was what she wished for. Even though that would be hard probably. After all if they lived in the same village. And he did not want her to have to travel somewhere else as she seemed to have found her way here. Maybe he could lock himself up at his farm again, after all he had become quite used to it.
He watched her in silence as the tears seemed to flow over her cheeks. He had never meant to make her this destressed, he hadn’t meant for her to cry like that. He wasn’t sure if it was because she was sad or terrified of him… He did hope she was not afraid of him… After all he would never hurt an innocent woman. His breath seemed to get stuck in his throat as he waited for her to speak and he closed his eyes at her words. Thinking that she would refuse and that the hope and determination he had would be lost. But… she said something he had not expected to hear. "Yes, I will allow you to earn my trust." He looked at her with surprise in his eyes. Before he relaxed a bit. She would allow him to earn it! That was even more then he had hoped for really. That was a lot and somewhere he felt relieved and happy. He knew it wouldn’t come in one day. He knew it probably would be hard work. He knew it wasn’t going to be easy. But he was determined to get there, no matter how long it took. He took a slow breath and listened carefully to her spoken words. Though he watched her features to as he expression was just as important on this moment. "Once you have earned that...I'll let you help me...I've been doing okay...but there is still so much I don't know, or understand." He was sure all of this was very confusing… Very new and probably terrifying on many levels. "I have been living at the tavern and also working there, it’s at least things I know how to do...and I've been making enough too...We will take this slowly, if you prove me you mean me no harm, or my child...I will allow you into our lives, and I won’t leave."
He listened carefully, seemed like she really had made a living for herself and seems she really was doing well for herself. He nodded as she said they would take it slowly. He understood that, this was not something that could be rushed or be pushed and he would try to give her as much time as she needed. Try to help the best he could. "Trusting isn't going to come easy to me...I'm not even sure I know how to trust someone...I never have." Of course it hadn’t. She had been a Thrall… No one would even be kind to her probably. After all she had been a possession and nothing more. A tool… But now she was free to do what she wanted… And if she wanted to let him in… oh he would be so happy if he could earn her trust. Knowing it would mean a lot. More than a lot. After all it would be a connection to his past. "But I'll try if you prove to me you mean this" He nodded. He understood and he would try very hard to prove her he was honest and not about to bring her back to be a thrall again. He watched a bit as he saw how she looked around. He snapped out of it realizing they were still on the market. ‘Oh…’ Some people were watching them. He frowned a bit before he took of his cape and placed on her shoulders. Closing it and putting the hood over her head. So that people could no longer see she was or had been crying. As he then leaned down to look her in the eyes. Giving her a light smile. ”Thank you Alvina.” He wanted to thank her for giving him this chance at the very least. ” I will try to help you with whatever I can.” Though he wasn’t sure how or with what. But they could figure it out. ”Just tell me what you need and I will make sure you get it.” He continued. Even if it would be hard maybe to get some things he would try his best. He then stood and rubbed the back of his head. ”And I will try helping you to figure this all out.” Though he wasn’t sure if he could. After all… what did he knew about all this? Oh maybe he was still just a fool. |

| Alvina had made sure to watch his face for all kinds of reactions, at first he looked surprised that she was going to give him a chance, and in a way she was surprised with herself. That she was going to let him try,but part of her wanted to know if there was some kind of good man in this world other then Sivpday, the had been kind to her the few times she spoke to him, but he was one of the very few. Every other man in this world had treated her poorly or like an object that they could use and abuse the way they wanted. It was a life she was never going to go back to, and it was a life that was connected to the man in front of her. However he was someone she wanted to give a chance to. Alvina wanted her child to be able to know some of its real family. It would be hard to tell her child what happened, and she was sure she would leave a lot of it out to protect them, but the idea that they would have at least a sibling in their life did make her happy in a way. That they would be able to have one another. For she may be uneducated, but she still understood that the Prince had left for a reason, and if he had any intentions of hurting her, he might have already done so by now. That was at least what she told herself as she looked around at the people. Something else happened that surprised her more then anything. Vern was touching her, and putting his own cloak over her. Covering her, and keeping it so people could no longer be looking at her and the tears she had been spilling earlier. It was such a kind and caring thing to do that she almost starts to cry once more as she looked at him in the eyes. This man was going to break his way into her walls a lot faster then she was ready for, she was already getting that feeling from him so strongly. It was something that scared her and excited her, for someone to actually prove to be a good person in the world, but she was so scared he would fail her. That she would lose faith in the entire world. She would not let her put that much weight onto his shoulders. Nonetheless she just hoped and prayed to whatever god that would help her that this was not going to be a mistake on her behalf. That letting him try wasn't just going to get her hurt even more then she already had been hurt in her life. Alvina wasn't sure if she really could take much more pain and much more heartbreak. When he started to speak, she made sure to give him her full attention. ”Thank you Alvina.” he says to her first and she returns his light smile to him. ” I will try to help you with whatever I can.” Vern says to her next and she smiles a little brighter at him. He was very kind, and the more she was with him the more she knew it wasn't some act he was doing. She just needed to make sure that she stayed guarded for just a little bit. To protect herself and her child. ”Just tell me what you need and I will make sure you get it.” he says to her next and she almost shakes her head no, that she doesn't want him to feel like he has to get her anything, but she doesn't. Instead she just nods her head at him and his words. Alvina was going to let him help, for she was sure he knew a lot more about some things then she did. ”And I will try helping you to figure this all out.” he says to her last as he stood up and rubbed his head. Again, Alvina gives him a small smile and nods her head at him. She was sure that together they could figure this out and once she trusted him more she would ask him for more help as well. "You are welcome.." she says to him first a little awkwardly. Taking a step back toward him and biting her lip for a moment she thought before speaking. "Could you teach me about your gods....so I know more and don't stand out because I was never taught?" she says to him after a moment. "We could use that to build trust..." she says to him next, trying to explain herself to him. "And maybe we can just....spend time together as well...in a less public setting as well..." Alvina adds in a little bit nervous about her words and maybe that she was moving to fast. However a less public place meant no one was going to hear them speaking. The less people who knew her truth the better if you asked her. "The baby will be due soon, the healer says too....so then you can get to know the baby as well....once its time for that and I trust you more." Alvina finishes with. |

| He was relieved that she was willing to give him such a change. Really it even made him happy in many way’s. Though he made sure not to let it go to his head. He did not want to allow himself to get to excited about it. As he was sure that even if she gave him this change… it wouldn’t be easy to get her trust. Not with the shadow that was looming over him. Not only her past and what his father has done. But also because he was his father’s son. Even though he meant well, who really knew what she was thinking about him. He could imagen it wasn’t to good and he could not blame her for it. But he did hope he could set himself strait and just hoped that one day she would see him as Vern. Just Vern the man he was. Without the shadow he had looming over him. And he knew it would be hard as he wasn’t sure if he himself actually knew who he was exactly. But none the less he would try his best to get her to see he did mean well. That he meant what he said and that he was not lying. He would be careful in what he did, but still would make sure to be himself. And maybe if he could earn her trust, make her see him as he was. Set it all strait. Maybe after that it was time to set some other things strait as well. Maybe this meeting was planned, the gods made it so. And he somewhere started to believe that it was to show him he should stop hiding and live his life the way he wanted to. The way he intended too, the way he was meant to.
His eyes moved back to her as she said he was welcome. He wasn’t sure if she meant it or not and it wasn’t really something you could be welcome too. It was something you got or not. But he would make sure he got it no matter what he had to do for it. He gave her a small smile as she took a step back to him and spoke up. "Could you teach me about your gods....so I know more and don't stand out because I was never taught?" He frowned a bit on hearing that she was never thought about the gods. Wasn’t it a thing everyone should know about even a slave. After all she was human too and was under the eyes of the gods as everyone else of them. "We could use that to build trust..." Using the gods to build trust. He couldn’t say that he didn’t like the thought of that. In fact he liked it a lot. As he did like telling stories and the stories about the gods were the best that he would ever be able to tell to anyone. So of course he would be happy to teach her about the gods. "And maybe we can just....spend time together as well...in a less public setting as well..." He nodded at her words and then looked around a bit in thought. Before he looked back at her and smiled.
”I would be honoured to teach you about the gods.” He chuckled a bit at the thought he did believe that he was a pretty good teacher. ” I will be honoured to teach you about anything I know.” And he knew quite a lot even if he said it himself. He would tell her they could spend time on his farm after all not many people came there. And they would be left alone, no peering eyes to them. They would be able to talk for hours and well she would be safe there as well. But then he wasn’t sure if she would trust to come with him to his house. If he was in her position he would not trust it. But he did want to make that offer. Though there were other places they could go.. ”We could spend time on my farm, I could teach you about the gods there.” he said as he looked into her eyes. Before he smiled. ”Though I will understand if you do not feel comfortable with that jet.” He thought about it a bit more and let his gaze move over the people that were surrounding them. He then smiled. ”We also could meet at the shore, not many people will be there and we can speak and sit in the dunes.” And he did like the sea as well. He looked at her and mentioned to her belly. ”The fresh air will be good for you and the child you carry.” |

| Alvina was hoping this was all going to pay off in the end. That her son would have a brother and family in the world. That Vern would keep to his words, and that she could stay her and be safe. However she was going to make sure to stay aware of the things around her. So she could be ready to run if she needed to. Not that she had any idea of where she was going to run away to, but she would just hope it never came to that. Vern seemed like he was a good man, and she knew there were good men out there. That not every man in the world was evil and out to hurt her, so maybe he was one of them. Maybe he was sent by whatever higher power was helping her get this better life. Alvina liked to think it was the gods, and that was part of the reason she decided to ask him to teach her about them. So she had be better understanding, and because everyone she knew here followed them. She planed to stay and make a life for herself, so she needed to know things like that to fit in and not draw attention to herself as well. ”I would be honoured to teach you about the gods.” Vern says to her, and she gives him a light smile. He was going to make it hard on her, to not let him in so quick. However all she needed to do was think about all her pain and she could hold off until she was very sure he was okay. What he says next touches her in a way she didn't understand yet. ” I will be honoured to teach you about anything I know.” he said, and she thought it was very sweet because she could see no lies in his words. Vern meant what he was saying to her, that he would be so happy to help her and teach her things about the world. So because of that she isn't as against his next idea as she knows she should be. ”We could spend time on my farm, I could teach you about the gods there.” Vern says and she thinks for a moment that the idea sounds nice, however she needed to be careful before she just goes over to a mans house on her own. Like he was reading her mind, he says ”Though I will understand if you do not feel comfortable with that jet.” to her next. It makes her face blush just so slightly as she gives him a half smile. Her face must have been giving away how she felt. ”We also could meet at the shore, not many people will be there and we can speak and sit in the dunes.” he says next and Alvina quite likes that idea for the next time they get together. He goes on to motion to her stomach and say yet another sweet thing to her. ”The fresh air will be good for you and the child you carry.” and Alvina smiles and nods. "I like the sounds of that, meeting at the shoreline first....and the next time we can go to the farm. Once we are both more comfortable.." she says to him first before thinking for a moment. "I could meet you there in two days. That will be my next day off working at the tavern....I also live there for now, if you need me before that?" she says to him next. She supposed it would be safe to tell him where she lived, and if that turned out to be wrong then she would learn from her mistake then. "However I think I shall be wanting to head home soon. My feet are starting to hurt, and I have to rest to work tomorrow. I get a lot more tired lately" she says to him next. Ready to head home and meet with him to learn about the gods at another time. "I...could bring some kind of food for us as well when we meet, if you like?" she offered last, mostly because her baby and his sibling was always hungry. |

| His gaze softened when she said that she liked the sound of the shore line. Somewhere it reassured him. After all h had no idea that she wouldn’t run away far from this place the moment he left her. Maybe then he would never see her again and he could be waiting for here at the shoreline for hours while she wouldn’t come. Maybe that was slightly a fear in side of him. After all what did he know about her, all he could be sure of that she was not trusting him and that with great understanding. But for the rest this all could be just a set up to get rid of him. And he could not stay with her because if it was not just a set up then he would probably scare her and be a creep and he did want to avoid that at all costs. So he was just left with one option while she was left with all the rest of it. And his option was that he had to trust her and believe that she would come. That she would give him a chance and not run away like a rat in the night. He stared into her eyes, he had to trust her and somewhere he really wanted to. But in serious times like this is positive attitude was sometimes lost and the fact was that after he had run away. He had found it hard to trust anyone. Mostly because he didn’t want to be found out. Or because he saw himself as the one that could not be trusted. Even though he was still himself he was also only a traitor.
"I could meet you there in two days. That will be my next day off working at the tavern....I also live there for now, if you need me before that?" He listened carefully to her words before he smiled. So she worked in the tavern. Did she live there as well. He did hope the work was not too hard for her. And well he was glad to know where she was staying even though he did not believe he would visit her before the meeting. One so that he could give her some space room to think and two he would not like to bother her while she was working. He would be working as well. And it gave him time as well to think things through. "However I think I shall be wanting to head home soon. My feet are starting to hurt, and I have to rest to work tomorrow. I get a lot more tired lately" He smiled at the a chuckle even escaping. Well he had to say that he believed that one. Though also that this encounter had been tiring even for him. A lot to take in and well that meant a whole lot. So he realised that it was kind of a hint to say goodbye for now or maybe forever. "I...could bring some kind of food for us as well when we meet, if you like?" He shook his head lightly.
”There is no need too.” He would be happy enough if she showed up all in all. ”I will bring anything we need, I have all on my farm.” And it would be free too while she, probably would have to pay for it or work for it. He smiled at her. Once again thinking that he would be happy enough with her just showing up. ”I will leave you to go home then.” He gave her a smile and then looked around. Before he looked back at her. ”I will see you in two days then!” He said with a bit more of energy in his voice, like he was the same old Vern as always. ”Thank you Alvina.” He said before he turned around and started to walk, leaving her with his cloak. ”Make sure you get home safe!” He called after her as he moved more into the crowd. He had already forgotten why he had coming to the marked anyway. So he would go home and think this whole thing over. As there was so much he suddenly seemed to have to set right. |
